At Redzone we take a systematic approach to improving productivity and food safety, using easy to deploy social technology combined with coaching. Built for food and beverage and CPG, our capabilities provide real-time, plant-wide visibility into key metrics such as OEE with integrated food safety and quality management in a single platform.

What Type of Software is Redzone?

Redzone is the leader of new category of transformational software that is defined by analysts such as Gartner and LNS as “Connected Worker”, what we call Connected Workforce, since we see the primary role of the technology as breaking down silos and having teams communicate and collaborate seamlessly and intentionally to solve the biggest issues that impact productivity. 

We are about the frontline employee and how they can contribute to productivity, throughput, OEE, and overall business health. While Redzone can integrate with an MES, it is not an MES. We focus our technology and coaching on addressing the human element that makes manufacturing work.

How is the Redzone software used?

After a manufacturer purchases Redzone, a plan is formed between Redzone and the plant.  Once the prep work is complete, a practice week takes place where we make sure everything is up and running properly.  Redzone ensures that each plant has the hardware needed – iPads, Apple TVs – and that everything is ready for Day One of Coaching. The Jamf platform is used to simplify the ongoing management and updating of all Apple devices used to interact with Redzone.

Our coaches then activate the new frontline action workflows in the technology, coaching in these behaviors directly with your frontline teams, so they are confident to execute this new standard work. This takes place in a highly structured way with 4 weeks on site over the course of 90 days so that your entire team is confident using the platform and the new behaviors are adopted and optimized to get the incredible productivity gains.

Jamf and Redzone

Redzone supports using a managed app config to simplify logging into the software. Two parameters are available:

Organization ID: This parameter is used to automatically pass in the "organization name" needed to login to the app. This removes the need for users to type in this name, and speeds up the initial rollout.

Keep User Signed In: This parameter is used to control the login behavior of the app. A "Keep me signed in" toggle can be made option, toggled ON and hidden, or toggled OFF and hidden.
