Profile2Blueprint

Apple allows a classic MDM configuration profile to be transformed in place into a declaratively managed one: the device swaps the mechanism without reinstalling the profile, so nothing stops being enforced in between and no second profile fights the first. Doing it through the Jamf Platform API by hand means reading the classic payload plist, converting it to JSON with every identifier preserved exactly, and getting five separate conditions right — because if any one of them is wrong, the result is not a transform but a new profile installed alongside the old one. Profile2Blueprint is a macOS app that walks that migration stage by stage — for macOS and mobile device profiles alike — verifies the result against what the server actually stored, and refuses to deploy anything it could not verify. The transform is verified on hardware on both platforms.
