This tool was originally designed for organizations that do not have Macs but still need to perform mass inventory updates on their managed devices.
In the Mac Admins world "The MUT" is a well-known tool used for mass updating inventory records in Jamf Pro. It’s a tool we’ve relied on and recommended to many of our customers over the years.

A significant challenge for organizations that primarily use Windows machines as management devices and do not have access to Macs. With “Mass Update via GAS” you can now update your Jamf instance on any platform.

"Mass update via GAS" is a mobile device inventory mass update tool for Jamf Pro, utilizing Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, and the Jamf API.
With this tool, you can easily mass update device inventory records (currently limited to iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS) and user attributes (such as username, asset tag, or custom attributes, etc). through Google Sheets using a Windows machine (or any other OS)! It is platform-independent and operates within a web browser.
🙌🏻 Easy for anyone to learn and use
Setting it up for the first time may require some time, but once configured, there’s no further setup required.
Bonus: You won’t need to enter your Jamf Pro URL and user credentials every time you want to run a mass update. Simply hit ‘Run’, and you’re good to go.
